Sometimes when one of my girls are sick or just simply in need of something I sometimes get to witness the most beautiful things as a parent...I see one of them cover the other up because they lost their blankie, or someone has a bad dream and I hear a whisper across the hall...it's okay it's just a bad dream, you can come cuddle with me...or when the baby cries and her sister walks to the fridge and grabs her milk and kisses her goodnight on the forehead and hands her her favorite doll. You know what I'm talking about? This is the way this book made me feel. The first story is my absolute favorite. And there's more! This book truly inspires little ones...my girls loved it!! Here the author gives words to typical emotions a child might be feeling but may not know how to express in easy to digest rhymes. I loved how each story is so relatable to little ones in terms of their fears or nerves, yet each child in the end of their story ends up being brave.
